PCMA Greater Midwest Chapter Members and friends of GMC PCMA who want to enhance sharing of knowledge, expertise and the lighter side of our biz.

The Greater Midwest Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association (GMC PCMA) was founded in 1993. GMC offers a variety of educational meetings as well as networking opportunities. Our interaction with other hospitality industry professionals through events such as our Membership Connections, Community Service Projects, and our Annual Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser also serve to provide our

members and other industry colleagues with excellent events at which to network while serving the community.

This week’s Membership Committee meeting focused on how we can strengthen connections with students and create pathways into the events industry. The conversations were thoughtful, energizing, and a reminder that the future of our profession is in good hands.

Thank you to our Membership Committee for investing in the next generation of event leaders. 🌟 🚀

Happy Pride! 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🖤🤍🤎

Pride Month is celebrated annually in June to honor the LGBTQ+ community, celebrate q***r culture, and advocate for civil rights. The 1969 police raid of Stonewall Inn sparked six days of protests and serves as the catalyst for the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement.
