Exciting news for autism homeschool families!

NeuroStars Phonics Factory is introducing Launch From Home, our autism-focused homeschool literacy and learning coaching program created to help families build structured literacy routines with guidance and support that truly fits home life.

Launch From Home was created for autistic homeschool learners and the parents guiding them. The program supports families with practical literacy routines, parent coaching, and guidance that honors regulation, sensory needs, pacing, and real family life.

This is not a traditional tutoring model. It is a coaching-based program designed to help parents feel more confident and supported as they build literacy routines at home.

Families may be a fit if they are:

• Homeschooling an autistic child
• Preparing to homeschool an autistic child
• Looking for Orton-Gillingham-based literacy support that feels realistic at home
• Needing guidance with reading routines, consistency, and parent confidence

Families can begin by completing an interest form, and we will follow up with next steps.

Enrollment is open for Path to Launch at NeuroStars Phonics Factory.

We’re excited to welcome both returning and new families to our afterschool structured literacy program. Path to Launch provides Orton-Gillingham-based support for eligible neurodivergent learners with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, or related IEP needs in a caring and encouraging environment.

We are now enrolling for the 2026–2027 program year, and because we keep our groups small to provide personalized support, space is limited.

We’re officially launching our Back-to-Program campaign!

NeuroStars Phonics Factory is preparing for our August program year, and we are inviting our community to help us build a neurodivergent-friendly learning space for autistic and neurodivergent learners here in Macon.

This campaign will help provide literacy materials, sensory and regulation resources, parent workshop needs, interactive learning tools, classroom organization, and student scholarships.

Many neurodivergent learners need more than traditional reading support. They need structured literacy intervention, sensory-aware spaces, visual supports, patient instruction, and a learning environment where they are seen as capable.

As we reflect on the close of our 2025–2026 afterschool year, we are proud of the growth, hard work, and perseverance our NeuroStars Phonics Factory students showed throughout the program.

This group will always hold a special place in our story as our first full-year afterschool cohort. Their growth, effort, and presence helped shape a meaningful foundation for what NeuroStars Phonics Factory is becoming.

We are especially proud to share that two of our students closed a full year reading gap, while another student made meaningful gains in reading fluency and decoding skills.

This year reminded us that the work is not only about reading growth. It is also about confidence, consistency, and creating a space where neurodivergent learners can be supported and celebrated. We are grateful for all this year has taught us and look forward to what is ahead next year.

We are excited to officially share that NeuroStars Phonics Factory is now a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! 🎉

This milestone represents so much more than paperwork. It reflects our continued commitment to supporting neurodivergent learners through structured literacy intervention, affirming educational support, parent education, and community-centered programming.

What began as a deeply personal journey has continued to grow into a mission dedicated to helping exceptional learners become confident readers in environments that honor how they learn best.

We are incredibly grateful for every family, supporter, educator, and community member who has encouraged and supported this work along the way. Your support helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities for neurodivergent learners and their families.

As we prepare for our upcoming August programming and the launch of our Autism Homeschool Coaching Program, we are excited for what lies ahead and thankful to have our community alongside us on this journey.

Founder’s Message | A Full-Circle Moment

My son is the heart behind this work and a big part of the vision that led to NeuroStars Phonics Factory. Having him with me at our vendor table during the Autism Awareness Festival made this moment especially meaningful.

What started as a personal journey has grown into a mission to support neurodivergent learners and their families through literacy, advocacy, and care. NeuroStars Phonics Factory was created to provide neuro-affirming literacy support for autistic and other neurodivergent learners.

As the school year winds down, our students are still growing. During today’s afterschool station rotation, students moved between computer-based comprehension work and a hands on vocabulary activity, building skills in ways that keep learning engaging and meaningful.

Founder’s Message | Autism Acceptance Month

April is Autism Acceptance Month. 🩵🧩
Today is Autism Awareness Day. April 2.

I am proud to share something many in our NeuroStars Phonics Factory community may not know. I am a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, an organization that has publicly embraced autism acceptance as part of its service initiatives.

That alignment is deeply meaningful to me. I am not only the Founder of NeuroStars Phonics Factory. I am also the mother of an autistic son. The work we do is not abstract. It is lived. It is personal. It is rooted in creating neuro-affirming literacy spaces where autistic learners and their families feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Seeing autism acceptance championed within sisterhood and service reflects the same values of inclusion, belonging, and dignity that guide our mission every day.

The autism spectrum represents diverse strengths, perspectives, and lived experiences. This month and every month, we remain committed to building structured, supportive environments where autistic students are supported and celebrated exactly as they are.
