August gave us another opportunity to connect entrepreneurs with the knowledge, resources, and people that can help them move forward.

We kicked off the month with our first bilingual Financial Literacy session, facilitated by American Pride Bank, followed by So You Want to Start a Business? with SCORE Mentors, continuing two important opportunities for entrepreneurs to learn and ask questions.

We also had the opportunity to attend the 35th anniversary celebration of the Macon-Middle Georgia Black Pages & Resource Guide. We’re proud of our partnership and were honored to celebrate the legacy of Alex Habersham and his impact on our community.

And behind the scenes, we spent much of August preparing for something special: our 10th Macon Startup Week.

For 10 years, this work has been about making entrepreneurship more accessible and creating opportunities for people in our community to learn, connect, and grow. We’re excited to share this year’s schedule, open registration, and welcome everyone back for an incredible week.

The lineup is coming. Registration is coming. Lock in and don’t miss year 10!

According to our board, Macon Startup Week wouldn’t happen without them.

The truth? They’re all right!

Macon Startup Week has always been a community effort. Every year, dedicated board members, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and supporters give their time to make this event possible.

As we celebrate 10 years of Macon Startup Week, we’re excited to introduce a few of the people behind the event.

We’re grateful for each of them and can’t wait to celebrate with you September 24–26!
