LFRC’s program director, Olivia, was so grateful to attend this year’s Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Conference this month💚

Thank you to the Commission on Grandparents Raising Grandchildren for bringing together such an empowering and impactful event 👏 It was a wonderful opportunity to honor the amazing grandparents who lovingly step into the role of raising their grandchildren every day.

The conference also highlighted the importance of community, connection, and the many organizations working together to provide resources and advocacy for these families 🤝💚

Congratulations to our amazing MSW Intern, Kate McDonald, on graduating from Salem State University this month! 🎉🎓

Kate brings so much positivity, compassion, and energy to the LFRC team every single day 💚 Whether she’s supporting our LGBTQIA+ Youth Group or restocking the community fridge with a smile, her kindness and dedication never go unnoticed!

What an incredible night in Lynn! ✨

The LFRC team was proud to attend the Early Childhood Literacy Night at the Annex, in partnership with CFCE (Coordinated Family & Community Engagement). With over 100 community members in attendance, the energy was amazing! 👏

We had the opportunity to connect with families, share resources, and give out books and LFRC swag to support early literacy and learning. 📚💚

The Lynn FRC was proud to be part of Autism Awareness Day a few weeks ago 💚🌿

Connecting with families, sharing resources, and spreading awareness in the sunshine made for such a meaningful day 🌳✨ We loved getting to talk about the supports available through the Lynn FRC and making sure families know we’re here for them 💚

Also great to connect with incredible community partners like and the Federation for Children with Special Needs 🤝🌱

Days like this remind us how strong and supportive our community is 💚🌎

Over $25,000 worth of food for the community 💚🥫

Thanks to the Saab Family Foundation , the LFRC received an incredible donation totaling over 1,600 individual boxes of food — 16 pallets worth 🚛🌱

This massive effort took serious teamwork. From unpacking hundreds of pallets and boxes at delivery, to repacking an entire U-Haul the following week to move everything into storage, our team made it happen 💪

And this impact goes far beyond one delivery:

✨ Filling 60 bags of food every week
✨ Restocking the 3 times a week — every Monday, Wednesday & Friday
✨ Keeping our pantry stocked so families can continue receiving food support weekly

Because of this grant, we’re able to make food more accessible for our community and continue showing up for families who rely on these resources every single week 🍃

Grateful for the teamwork, the partnerships and the impact this will continue to make. 💚
