Tuesday morning, October 20th, The Caleb Group breaks ground on Emerson Homes in Topsfield. Forty-four affordable homes for older adults will rise off High Street. We are grateful to the partners, town leaders, neighbors who brought us to this day. More to share Tuesday.

This summer's art class at Congress Square Plaza was made possible through the generous support of Healthcare, who funded the class itself along with pizza for two full sessions. Vision boards, collage, and conversation filled the room — a reminder of what residents can build when given the space and the means to create.

School is back in session! The crossing guard serving schools near our Broadway office in Lynn is back on the job, keeping students safe on their way to class and home. She parks in our lot during the school year, and this year sent us a thank you note - so nice. We are happy to be a good neighbor - the kiddos are great.

Summer at Congress Square Plaza has been full. Residents filled the community room for an art class this season — two teachers, dozens of participants, and pizza for everyone care of Healthcare. Bingo night found a new rhythm with the newest caller, ice cream socials drew a crowd, and weekly farm share and government food boxes kept pantries stocked. A public health nurse holds clinic here every week, and residents dressed for worship boarded the van, transportation provided by Your Service. The Congress Square neighborhood does not offer much green space, but our small garden and bird bath held their own all season.
