🐾🧡 Meet Valley, our newest little medical intake!🧡🐾

One of our former adopters has been helping with TNVR efforts in a local cat colony when she came across this friendly little kitten who was clearly not feeling her best. She reached out to see if we could help, and of course, we couldn't say no!

Valley is an approximately 3-month-old, orange, long-haired little girl who has already been spayed and ear-tipped. Unfortunately, this poor baby was in pretty rough shape. She was underweight and unthrifty, with a matted coat, fleas galore, diarrhea from intestinal parasites, a very distended belly, and an upper respiratory infection. 💔

Thankfully, Valley is now safe in a loving foster home and has already started treatment. She's making great progress, but we're not quite out of the woods yet! She'll need another veterinary visit to reassess her progress, complete her testing, and get her vaccinated once she's feeling better.

For now, we're focusing on getting this sweet girl healthy, comfortable, and back to feeling like the playful kitten she deserves to be. 🧡

❤️‍🩹 A little Garth update!❤️‍🩹

Our tiny little man continues to make progress, and we have some good news to share! 🥹❤️Garth is officially back to LOVING his food, which is a huge relief! We're still working on getting some much-needed weight on his little body, his hair continues to sprout back, and best of all, the jaundice is gone! 🙌

He has repeat bloodwork scheduled for October 24th, and we're really hoping his numbers have improved enough that we can finally move forward with his much-needed dental procedure. 🤞 Through all of this, Garth continues to be the sweetest little lovebug. He absolutely adores attention, cuddles, and being spoiled by his wonderful foster family.

This little guy has been through so much, but seeing him slowly heal and enjoy life again makes our hearts so happy. ❤️

🎉🐾 WE MADE IT TO THE FINALS!!🐾🎉

We are SO incredibly excited and honored to share that AnimalLuvr’s Dream Rescue was named a 2026 Creative Loafing Best of the Bay FINALIST for Best Place to Adopt a Pet! ❤️

Out of all the incredible rescues and shelters in the Tampa Bay area, being recognized as a finalist means so much to us! A HUGE thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us, shared our posts, encouraged others to vote, and continues to support our little rescue with a BIG mission. 🥹❤️

To our amazing volunteers and foster families, none of this would be possible without your endless dedication, sleepless nights, countless hours, and love for the animals who need us most. To our adopters, THANK YOU for opening your hearts and homes to our rescue babies. You are the reason we do what we do, and seeing our animals happy, healthy, and loved in their forever homes is the greatest reward of all.

Thank you, Tampa Bay, for believing in us and our mission! We are so grateful!❤️

Archie is all tucked in and ready for bedtime in his adorable Halloween jammies! 👻

He's got his cozy pajamas, his pumpkin plushie, and a bed to snuggle in. Now he's just missing one little thing... a forever family to tuck him in every night! 🥹❤️

Our favorite little pocket Rottie with the unforgettable underbite is STILL available for adoption! He's sweet, goofy, ridiculously clingy, and guaranteed to make sure you never have to sleep alone again. 🧡

Our sweet senior Dusty is officially a college boy! 🎓🐾💚

A huge thank you to USF for inviting us out to participate in their on-campus De-Stress Day event! We thought who better to help students take a little break from the stress of college life than our handsome, lovable old man Dusty?! 🥹💛

Dusty was out there doing what he does best, soaking up ALL the attention and showing everyone just how sweet, handsome and full of personality he is. His incredible foster parents were also there representing ALDR, sharing our mission and talking with the community about the many ways they can get involved through volunteering, fostering and adopting. We are so grateful for everything they do for Dusty and our rescue! ❤️

We want to remind everyone that Dusty is STILL available for adoption! This sweet senior boy has so much love to give and would absolutely love a forever home of his own.
