The Lutz K-8 PTSA is proud to recognize three extraordinary members of our school community who were recently honored by the Hillsborough County Council PTA/PTSA Awards Program.
What makes these recognitions especially meaningful is that recipients are selected from among PTA and PTSA members across all schools in Hillsborough County. These awards recognize individuals whose dedication, leadership, and service have made a lasting impact on their school communities.
🏆 Erica Schleman
2025-2026 Outstanding K-8 President
As PTSA President, Erica has worked tirelessly to grow our organization, strengthen family engagement, and expand programs that directly support our students, teachers, and staff. Her leadership, vision, and commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for our school community have helped make Lutz K-8 PTSA stronger than ever. This recognition is a testament to the countless hours she dedicates to ensuring every student and teacher feels supported and valued.

🏆 Annalla Foshee
2025-2026 Outstanding K-8 Volunteer

Annalla proudly represents the grandparent generation within our PTSA and has been a passionate advocate for family involvement. Through her leadership and support of our Grandparents Read to Me program, she has helped create welcoming opportunities for grandparents to engage with our school community. Her warmth, dedication, and commitment to ensuring grandparents feel like valued members of our PTSA family have made a tremendous difference.

Evelyn was recognized for her outstanding leadership, service, and dedication to making a positive impact on her school community. Through her involvement and willingness to serve others, she exemplifies the qualities of a student leader and represents the very best of Lutz K-8.

As we wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, we want to extend our heartfelt THANK YOU to every parent, family member, community supporter, and volunteer who helped make this year so special for our students and staff.

From classroom support and event planning to fundraising, field trips, teacher appreciation, and countless behind-the-scenes moments — your time, energy, and dedication made a lasting impact on our school community.

Last evening at our General PTSA meeting, our President and Vice President proudly presented a check to Principal Phillips on behalf of the PTSA. 💛What an amazing year it has been for the Lutz K-8 PTSA!💛
This year was a true reflection of what can happen when a school community comes together with passion, generosity, and heart. Because of our incredible families, teachers, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners, we were able to make a lasting impact on our students and school.
From supporting teachers with grants and appreciation events, to funding student programs, family nights, literacy events, dances, STEAM activities, and contributing toward our Media Center upgrade — every membership, donation, sponsorship, and volunteer hour helped make these accomplishments possible.
We are so proud of everything we achieved together.
Thank you for believing in our mission and showing up for our school in such meaningful ways. Your support continues to make Lutz K-8 a special place for every Leopard to learn, grow, and thrive.
