Back at it bright and early.

Our two small freezers were full when pantry service began yesterday, you will see how full in the photos but they were completely empty within an hour. The need in our community is both humbling and heartbreaking.

Many people don’t realize we serve not only our community but also members of our church family who are struggling. We want to make sure no one goes without so I went back to Walmart this morning to buy more meat.

Our food pantry is fully self-funded. Even with the generous support of my sweet friend and ministry partner, who shares extra food whenever possible, it costs about $750 each week for meat and nonperishable items to keep our shelves and freezers stocked and serve families. That need will just keep growing and growing fast.

Today, we urgently need help replenishing our shelves and freezers so we can continue serving families without interruption. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a real difference and goes directly toward providing food for those in need.

We served 51 households today with a team of 10 amazing volunteers, and I couldn’t be more proud of every single one of them. From those doing the heavy lifting, to the bag packers, to everyone working behind the scenes and everything in between…you are the heart of this ministry.

And I can’t forget our Spanish-speaking volunteers. We simply could not do this without you!💕🙌💕

Not only did we accomplish a lot today, but we had a great time doing it. The love, compassion, and kindness I saw being shown to families in need made my heart so full.

We truly love what we do, and we are so grateful for each volunteer who chooses to serve alongside us. Together, we’re making a difference, one family at a time. ❤️

What a blessing this weekend was. ❤️

If we’re being honest, we wish there wasn’t a line of people needing help with food. We wish every family had more than enough and that no one had to worry about how they would put meals on the table. But the reality is that every week, the line seems to get a little longer, and every week God reminds us that He is faithful. As the need grows, He continues to provide through generous donors, caring volunteers, community partners, and people who simply choose to help their neighbors.

This weekend, we had the privilege of serving 44 families in our community, sharing not only food, but also encouragement, compassion, and hope. Seeing cars lined up and knowing that families will have meals on their tables this week is a humbling reminder of why this ministry exists.

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers who show up week after week with servant hearts, or without those who donate food, funds, and supplies to help keep our shelves and freezers stocked. You are making a real difference in the lives of local families.

We are grateful. We are blessed. And we are continually amazed at how God provides exactly what is needed, right when it is needed.

Thank you for being part of this mission. Together, we are showing our community that they are not alone and that when people come together in faith and love, hope is never out of reach. ❤️

Our pantry is growing, and one thing we desperately need is a freezer-less commercial refrigerator (cooler),something similar to this double glass-door unit. It would allow us to safely store more fresh foods, produce, dairy, and other perishables for the families we serve each week.
