Lunenburg Community Events, Social Engagement and Recreation Task Force We are a group of community members who committed to the task force of community events, social engagement and recreation. All are welcome to join us whenever.

The loons are here today to brighten your day.
We wanted you to know you are thought of in a very special way.

Funny story as the loons were placing themselves Teresa's son let the dog, Socks out and now we know it was just a matter of time before the operation was discovered. We stood in silence trying to blend in. However, the porch light was bright and we couldn't continue. Our cover was blown and we identified ourselves to Steven explaining he couldn't tell his mom as the loons were a surprise for her.
In the end mission accomplished! 💕🦆🥰

Today, the loons made their way to S. Lunenburg Road with a very special mission… to loon a children’s librarian, Angie Marchetti! 🦆💙

And what makes this mission even more special? These loons were gifted by our very own librarian at the Alden Balch Memorial Library! 📖✨

Have you seen this image around town and wondered what is going on and why? 🤔

The You've been Looned sign and asylum of loons is a fundraiser to help support the Community Events, Social Engagement and Recreation Task Force efforts to build a pavilion and upgrade the court to a multi use court at Fox Field in Gilman.

We have had a wonderful response to it. We started May 15th and should be wrapping up around September 15th. That's TWO months past our original date. We can't thank all those who have sent loons to fellow community members enough, your support is encouraging to our efforts.

The most recent recipient was Cam Benoit looned with care from Barbara Temple-Owles. 💙🦆💕

Another neighbor has officially been LOONED! 🎉🪿

This little flock has arrived for a 3-night stay in their very own loon asylum! 🏡😂

We hope our feathered visitors bring a few laughs, a little confusion, and lots of fun while they’re hanging out!
