Stable Connections, Equine Assisted Therapy Stable Connections, Equine Assisted Therapy Services offers Corporate Team Building, Veterans Workshops, EAP/EAL and natural horsemanship riding lessons.

Our Mission:
To provide opportunities for education, as well as emotional and physical growth using equine assisted activities and therapies. Our focus is on wellness – to provide quality mental health counseling, therapeutic horsemanship/riding and educational opportunities for individuals of all ages. In 2009, Stable Connections became the first EAGALA certified program in the state of Vermont

& Northern New Hampshire. Our facility is located in Guildhall, Vermont just off RT 102 and designed to offer a safe, healthy and nurturing environment located on privately owned land that ensures privacy for the sessions. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning:
These sessions are facilitated by a team that incorporates a licensed mental health professional and an experienced equine specialist, partnering with you & the horse to help achieve your goals. Everyone can benefit from this cutting-edge form of therapy. Interactive learning with the horses is all conducted on the ground and involves no mounted riding. Program works for individuals dealing with issues of addictions, depression, behavioral disorders, trauma, grief or loss or relationship difficulties, people of all ages will discover "Hope & Healing" through the power of the horse. Stable Connections is happy to introduce two new team members to our growing staff.

Emily Slosson joins us as our new Assistant Barn Manager and Volunteer Coordinator. She comes to us with various experience and expertise in the equine world.

Adriana Dorr has been a volunteer at Stable Connections and now is working with us. She will soon be a junior at Groveton High School and her dream is to work in the equine industry.

A quick update on our Women’s Veterans Pathfinders Group starting on May 7th, we have only 2 available spots available! If you are a female veteran and would like to attend, please PM us.

We are offering an All Female Veteran Pathfinders Workshop at Stable Connections starting May 7th from 5pm -7pm. This is a six week workshop that will focus on women in the military with their experiences and challenges.

This innovative workshop using horses to heal and is designed to provide a safe arena to explore emotions as they engage in activities with a horse/horses.

Horses have a special ability to help people work through emotional barriers, serving as metaphors and powerful stand-ins for the people, issues, and challenges in their life.

This is not a riding workshop, all feet are on the ground - horses & participates alike.
