National Sorghum Producers thanks Secretary Brooke Rollins and USDA for including approximately 5.7 million bushels of U.S. sorghum in the FY2027 Food for Peace forecast.

This announcement represents meaningful demand for U.S. sorghum farmers while helping provide food to families facing hunger in East and West Africa.

NSP remains committed to strengthening Food for Peace and ensuring American-grown commodities continue to play a vital role in international food assistance.

National Sorghum Producers thanks President Donald J. Trump, Secretary Rollins and Sen. Marshall for announcing $8 billion in U.S. Department of Agriculture Harvest Fuel Relief to help farmers manage rising fuel and input costs.

Join us in congratulating Garrett Love of Montezuma, Kansas, as NSP’s new chairman! Scott Frazier of Chapman Ranch, Texas, will serve as vice chairman, and Amy France of Scott City, Kansas, continues her leadership as past chair.

We’re also pleased to welcome new board members Tom Gregory of Petersburg, Texas; Verity Ulibarri of Clovis, New Mexico; and Cody White of Lubbock, Texas.
