Phyllis Minch received an International Award this summer at IC and it finally made its way back to us. The Hope for Heroes Legacy Award was presented to her at our meeting.
The difficulty we had with nominating Phyllis for the award was that we were limited with only one page in which we could say all the things she has done for Veterans. So we had to make the font very small.
Phyllis has been in ESA 36 years and there has never been a lack of what she will do for our Veterans. From being involved with numerous Honor Flights as a Guardian, to tenaciously seeing to it that Veterans use their benefits, to being that smiling face every Saturday morning for PAMVET breakfast, the list goes on and on.
This was just a small way we could say you are making a difference Phyllis and we are so very proud to give you a shout out!
