Earlier this month, some of our leadership team attended the Habitat for Humanity's 2026 Affiliate Conference in Atlanta, Georgia!

The conference celebrated Habitat for Humanity International's 50th Anniversary of building affordable housing and creating community all while bringing together other Habitat affiliates across the U.S. and around the world. 🌎

Our September volunteer spotlight is one of our construction regulars, Mike!

You might remember him, as we had the pleasure of being a part of his 85th Birthday celebration back in August. 🎉

Mike and his wife, Elaine were part of building the first Loveland Habitat home. Mike has been volunteering with us since 1987, but later became a regular construction volunteer in 2002 after spending 11 years doing maintenance and construction in Estes Park.

Mike said his favorite part about volunteering with us is, "The varied work opportunities and fantastic volunteers and leaders I get to work with."
