Mighty Kindness Being kind to ourselves, each other and the Earth http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEfv1Qogj2s

Mighty Kindness is a community unity organization that elevates all that is kind for ourselves, each other and the Earth. Mighty Kindness hosts Hoots, or gatherings, that highlight the diverse offerings of a community that uplift in order to strengthen compassion, beauty, joy and vision. When we stand together in kindness, uniting to empower the helpers, we will find a community that has become a mighty force for good... filled with hope and thriving!

We're partnering with the Muhammad Ali Center and Metro United Way to host Build the Welcome: Service Day of Compassion!

Compassion is at the heart of Americana, and this service day is a wonderful opportunity for our neighbors to come together, support one another, and make our community an even more welcoming place for everyone.

Whether you've volunteered with us for years or are looking for a brand-new way to give back to Louisville, we would love to have your hands and your heart on deck.

This event is open to the public, so bring a friend, a neighbor, or your family.

One week from today, LFS is hosting a Clifton Neighborhood Cleanup as part of the Muhammad Ali Center and Metro United Way's annual Day of Compassion. We hope you'll join us!

We'll meet at the Folk School at 9:30 am for first-come, first-served coffee and bagels, before we walk over to the Chicken Steps. From this neighborhood gem off Brownsboro Rd, all the way to Bingham Park, we will pick up litter with supplies provided by Brightside! We expect to wrap up around 12:30 pm.

Our supplies are limited, so we recommend you bring your own. RSVP to [email protected] 🍃
