The Jewish Federation of Louisville holds in our thoughts all Israelis, members of the U.S. Armed Forces and IDF involved in the current action, and innocent civilians across the region. We pray for their safety and well-being.

We are closely monitoring the situation in coordination with the Jewish Federations of North America and our partners in Israel, who are providing ongoing updates.

You are invited to Join Jewish Federations of North America tomorrow, Sunday, March 1, 12 noon ET for a special webinar briefing on the rapidly unfolding conflict. Journalist Haviv Rettig Gur will provide timely analysis of the latest developments. Registration is required.

The security of our Jewish community remains our top priority. Our Community Security Director, Stuart Lowrey, is coordinating with community partners and local law enforcement to ensure a heightened security presence at all upcoming community events.

Yesterday was International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Thanks to Governor Andy Beshear for lighting the Governor's Mansion and to Mayor Craig Greenberg and Waterfront Park lighting the Big Four Bridge in yellow to honor the six million Jews and millions of others who were murdered.

On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, remember the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust. We honor their memory by providing essential care to Holocaust survivors and ensuring their stories live on for future generations.
