What does freedom mean in Seminole County?

Seminole County Legal Aid is inviting community members to participate in "What Freedom Means to Me in 2026," an interactive reflection project designed to capture the perspectives, experiences, and hopes of the people who call Seminole County home.

Whether freedom means opportunity, security, community, justice, family, or something entirely different, we want to hear from you. Add your thoughts to our growing display and help create a community snapshot of what freedom means in Seminole County today.

We are proud to welcome our two Summer 2026 Fellows through FFLA - Funding Florida Legal Aid's Civil Legal Aid Summer Fellowship Program!

Please join us in welcoming Isabella Perez of Florida A&M University College of Law and Celina Corvea of Florida State University College of Law to Seminole County Legal Aid this summer.

Over the next 10 weeks, Isabella will assist our Family Law team in Casselberry, while Celina will support our Housing Project in Sanford. We are honored to have been selected to host two of the 47 fellows participating in this year’s program and look forward to mentoring these future advocates as they help expand access to justice in our community.
