Medicine Horse is a Colorado non-profit providing healing through the empathic power of the horse. Donations of any amount are needed and appreciated.

Since it was founded in 2000, Medicine Horse Program has been making Equine Assisted Therapy affordable and accessible to the Boulder community. A $25 donation will help feed a rescued horse for a almost a week. With the help of our generous donors throughout the year, we are able to provide top level care to our co-therapists (the horses!) and keep costs low for our clients. The money you donate will go towards providing quality care for our horses (feed, hay, board, farrier and vet bills, facility maintenance, etc) and to developing new programs to benefit the community. So far this year, MHP has implemented programs geared towards veterans, children in foster care and group homes, LGBTQ* youth, people with eating disorders, people with developmental disabilities, groups for people recovering from alcohol and other drug addiction, and more. One of our own could use some extra support right now. 💙

Lauren(Lolo) is one of our therapists at Medicine Horse and an important part of our community. She is currently facing a serious medical emergency and recovery from meningitis.

Her loved ones have created a GoFundMe to help with medical expenses and everyday costs during her recovery. If you’re able to contribute, any amount can help. Sharing the fundraiser is also a wonderful way to support Lauren and her family.

What an incredible evening! ✨🐴

Our 25th Anniversary Gala, Silver Roots, Golden Future, was such a beautiful celebration of the people, animals, and community who have shaped Medicine Horse over the past 25 years.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported the event, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and helped make the evening so special. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of our herd. 💙
