Earning the rank of Eagle Scout represents years of dedication, grit, and leadership. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle—a lifelong commitment to serving their community wherever life takes them.
These two young men are a true inspiration to our troop and the entire Chester community. Congratulations, Andrew and TJ!

Troop 139 Fall Court of Honor

A fantastic evening celebrating the hard work, achievements, and adventures of our Scouts!

This fall, we proudly recognized 25 scouts who earned a collective:
88 Merit Badges Earned, and 5 Rank Advancements

The evening also brought back lessons learned from all the merit badges and memories of an incredible summer filled with adventure. Scouts shared stories from summer camp at Nobebosco, where the troop earned Honor Troop recognition for its outstanding service activities, and an unforgettable Sea Base High Adventure in the Bahamas.

One highlight? The captain fishing for megalodon in over 1,000 feet of water—with a fishing line full of Scouts hanging on for the adventure!

A special thank you to Scoutmaster TC Grego for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to helping our Scouts grow, achieve, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Congratulations to all our Scouts on their achievements. Here’s to another year of adventure, service, leadership, and Scouting spirit!

It is a great honor to announce that Timothy (TJ) Drag completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review and was advanced, by the Board, to the rank of Eagle Scout.

TJ joins 120 others who have fulfilled the requirements for the rank of Eagle from Troop 139. He is the 121
th Eagle Scout in the 63 year history of the Troop

It is a great honor to announce that Andrew Miskiman completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review and was advanced, by the Board, to the rank of Eagle Scout.

Andrew joins 119 others who have fulfilled the requirements for the rank of Eagle from Troop 139. He is the 120th Eagle Scout in the 63 year history of the Troop.

It is a great honor to announce that Karl Mauer completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review and was advanced, by the Board, to the rank of Eagle Scout.

Karl joins 118 others who have fulfilled the requirements for the rank of Eagle from Troop 139. He is the 119th Eagle Scout in the 63 year history of the Troop.

Congrats Karl. Great Project!

A special thank you to Karl Maurer for completing his recent Eagle Scout Project! Karl built flag drop boxes for both the Phoenix House and the Mendham Borough Police Station for residents to properly retire American flags. Residents who wish to respectfully retire their worn or unserviceable flags can now use the new drop boxes, which will be checked biweekly by the American Legion.

Karl will begin his 4-year enlistment in the U.S. Army on August 24th. We wish him the best of luck and thank him for the drop boxes as well as his service to our country!
