🎸Scouting Legends: Jon Bon Jov
Before the sold-out concerts and stadium anthems, Jon Bon Jovi was a Cub Scout in New Jersey, trying to turn a block of wood into a Pinewood Derby race car.
His first attempt? Wet paint, blue hands, and a car he later joked had three wheels on the same side.
Years later, when his own son became a Cub Scout, Bon Jovi flew home for the race. This time, they built their car together.
That’s the kind of memory Scouting makes possible. A shared project. A little laughter. Time together that matters long after the race is over.
What’s your favorite Scouting memory with your family?
