Our scouts of Troop 336 of Long Valley, NJ joined the scouts of Troop 50G of Sacramento, CA for a horseback Cavalcade adventure at Philmount Scout Ranch
in Cimarron, New Mexico for 7 days of riding, learning about wrangling, working on a conservation project, backcountry camping sleeping under the stars on the New Mexico nights, bonding and having good old fun! With this weeks Court of Honor Troop 336 closes out the ‘25/‘26 scouting season. As individuals and as a troop the scouts have accomplished much. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication were on display all season long and paid off as the rank advancements and merit badges reflected. Just as important were the bonds that were formed though shared adventures through the scouting experience. Now its time for summer! Some of us will see each other in July to make memories, build friendships, and enjoy another great summer at camp.

If you’re looking for a way for your daughter to build leadership skills, make lifelong friends, and experience the great outdoors, then come meet our all-girl BSA troop based out of Long Valley, NJ! Families are invited to drop by, meet our youth leaders and adult volunteers, and learn how Scouting builds character and confidence. Look forward to seeing all of you when we come back together later this year to enjoy new adventures in scouting!
