Howdy, Logan!

There’s a lot of construction happening downtown right now, and that’s a good thing! Businesses are growing, and the Ohio Department of Development has invested in our community. Their streetscape improvement project includes new sidewalks, safer crosswalks on Mulberry and Market Streets, upgrades to historic monuments in Worthington Park, reconstruction of the park gazebo, and improvements to community gateways.

FosterHub’s construction is nearly complete as well. Our general contractors are working collaboratively with anyone who may be impacted while we wrap up ahead of our Grand Opening on June 19. For assistance in downtown Logan, please feel free to walk up to anyone on-site or email [email protected]. Let us know how to help you!

FosterHub’s mission is to support youth aging out of the foster care system through transitional housing, life skills training, and education. When our facilities aren’t in use for programming, they will be available for individuals and businesses to rent. We are working tirelessly to ensure the center benefits the whole Hocking County community. Send a DM if you want to learn more about spaces we are happy to share.

If there’s any way we can use our Grand Opening on June 19 to support your business, please send us a DM or reach out to [email protected].

The young adults in our program come from more places than just Hocking County! This is a map of where people in our program are from. If someone’s aging out of foster care and they are ready to become self sufficient, they’re welcome here.

Tim is gearing up to save lives around Ohio as a firefighter, and with our Grand Opening around the corner, here’s a short compilation of early videos and recent pictures to show how much young adults aging out of foster care can grow, become independent, and give back to their community in a short amount of time. All it takes is a little support when they need it most!

Imagine how many people we will be able to help with the center open….

We were honored to see recognize our very own as someone who’s created lasting change for youth in our community!

“Community Partner Spotlight: Michelle Mays, FosterHub
As part of Child Abuse Prevention Month, we’re proud to recognize individuals whose impact creates lasting change for youth and families. Katie Hursey, our Ongoing Supervisor, chose to highlight Michelle Mays, Founder and CEO of FosterHub. As a former emancipated foster youth, Michelle has transformed her lived experience into meaningful, lasting impact. She leads with authenticity, grit, and vision-creating connections and support for young people aging out of foster care so they are never truly on their own. Her work is a powerful example of how connection truly is protection, and how one person’s journey can create hope for so many others.
We are grateful for the difference she continues to make.”
