Yesterday I was privileged to witness this amazing young woman buy her first car as an adult without a co-signer! Something many of us do often and don’t think twice about how hard it is for many. This is an amazing moment for so many reasons. Of course I cried!

9 mos ago this young lady turned 18 and joined our FosterHub family. She was unsure about us and how we would help her. We were unsure if she would like us and want to do our program. All I knew when I met her was that she had one goal. We promised to help her reach that goal if she worked our program.

Not only did she reach her goal to get her brother out of the system but she has worked so hard and is almost finished with her welding certification. She is so determined, all she needed was for us to break down obstacles for her so she could thrive.

This is what success looks like. This is what confidence looks like. This is adulting in a healthy way. All she needed was a roadmap and a support system. She is on her own but not alone!

We are so honored to be partnering with Perry County JFS on continuing support for foster youth. Just because they turn 18 doesn’t mean the care should stop. Everyone needs stability and connections. Thank you for helping us help them!

Calling all creatives!! FosterHub's Call For Art and Mural Submissions is open!

There is a massive, blank canvas of a brick wall on the side of our new Transitional Housing And Training Center. We are calling on the talented creatives in Hocking Hills to enter our mural contest, creating a work of art that inspires and uplifts all who walk by.

Winners will have their mural painted on our building.

Howdy, Logan!

There’s a lot of construction happening downtown right now, and that’s a good thing! Businesses are growing, and the Ohio Department of Development has invested in our community. Their streetscape improvement project includes new sidewalks, safer crosswalks on Mulberry and Market Streets, upgrades to historic monuments in Worthington Park, reconstruction of the park gazebo, and improvements to community gateways.

FosterHub’s construction is nearly complete as well. Our general contractors are working collaboratively with anyone who may be impacted while we wrap up ahead of our Grand Opening on June 19. For assistance in downtown Logan, please feel free to walk up to anyone on-site or email [email protected]. Let us know how to help you!

FosterHub’s mission is to support youth aging out of the foster care system through transitional housing, life skills training, and education. When our facilities aren’t in use for programming, they will be available for individuals and businesses to rent.
