It was an honor this past weekend at the Florida Art Education Association Conference in St Petersburg, FL, receiving my Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was for 31 years in the Florida classroom and continued civic involvement in the arts in Martin and St Lucie Counties. Obviously I could not have done this by myself, but have many students, fellow teachers, artists in the community, friends and family that pushed me to be a better teacher and a better person. This weekend I had the support of past students, and now friends, Tony and Clayton in my corner at St Pete rooting me on. FAEA people who have been very supportive include: Val, Josh, Latonya and Debi. I'm not slowing down yet. LUV2ALL
