The Moving Wall, a half-size replica of the Washington, D.C. Memorial, will be at the Kenan Center through SUNDAY 8/30.
Since 1984, The Moving Wall has been touring the U.S. to allow those who cannot travel to the nation's capital, to read the names of the lives lost during the Vietnam War, and to remember their bravery. Allowing individuals this experience has provided a sense of reflection and remembrance that can only be found in the quiet moments of personally viewing this masterpiece. It means that finally, they can see their loved ones' names engraved for all to see.
Additionally, on August 30th, Stoll Brothers will be playing music from the Vietnam Era, to be a part of honoring those who gave their lives during the war.
Touch their names. Remember their sacrifice. Welcome them home.
