The Barbara Ennis Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo generously donated $1,500 to support the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier's domestic violence programs.

We’re sending a huge thank you to Lockport Home Depot and Nora for donating a refrigerator. Now every hospital in Niagara County that provides sexual assault services has a locked refrigerator for the collection and short term storage of drug facilitated sexual assault kits. This allows survivors to have some time to think about involving law enforcement.

Yesterday, our YWCA Domestic Violence and R**e Crisis program staff attended the Western New York Gender-Based Violence Regional Council meeting. Our agency is always working toward strengthening coordinated community responses to survivors of violence. We play an active role in advocating for survivor-centered, trauma informed services and collaborating with community partners to improve support, safety, and access to resources for those impacted by violence.
