Shake off those blues and do something really good for yourself!

A last-minute cancellation means we have one rare opening in Diane Wilson's class at the Elk River Writers Workshop, October 18–23 at Chico Hot Springs.
Diane is an award-winning Dakota writer, educator, and bog steward whose work explores the powerful connections among land, memory, culture, and community. She is the author of The Seed Keeper, Spirit Car, and other extraordinary books.
If you have been longing for time to write, listen deeply, and think about your relationship to the living world—including a day in Yellowstone—this place may be waiting for you.
Email [email protected] as soon as possible for details!

Years ago, I was introduced to the writing of Mark Spragg through his debut memoir Where Rivers Change Direction. I was personally & forever changed; have evangelicalized about Spragg’s writing for years; and when I was first brought on as Executive Director of ERAL and Jamie asked who we ought to bring to Livingston, I immediately named Mark.

It is with great and selfish pleasure that we host Mark Spragg next week at Elk River Books. Join us for an evening of the West, the word, and all heart.
