Join us for a free virtual event titled “Practical Estate Planning” with local estate attorney Stephen E. Woodruff next Tuesday, October 13 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

From probate to estate tax to powers of attorneys and Medicaid, estate planning can quickly become too much to navigate without a trained guide. For something so personal and impactful to you and your loved ones, you deserve to understand what it all means and how to properly express your final wishes.

Join us to learn about the basics of estate planning and how to plan what happens to your money, property, and personal affairs during your lifetime and after your passing. You are invited to a free community open house at the brand new Auster Montana at Dome Mountain this Sunday, October 4th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 🍂☀️

Meet Our Board: We are pleased to introduce you to Lara Birkes, another thoughtful and talented member of our board of directors.

Lara is a sustainability and policy professional with over fifteen years’ experience managing partnerships, initiatives and policy engagement with companies, international organizations, governments, and NGOs. She holds a B.S. degree in International Business & Management from the University of Montana, a M.A. degree in International Trade Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California and served as a Fulbright Scholar in Morocco. She started her career working on Capitol Hill with the U.S. Senate Finance Committee for Montana Senator Max Baucus. Lara is now the executive director of Adventure Scientists, a Montana-based nonprofit that connects conservation researchers with the data they need to address critical environmental issues.

Lara is an outdoor enthusiast, avid skier and mountaineer and lives in the Paradise Valley - a few miles from where her great grandparents homesteaded on the Yellowstone River.

Thanks to everyone that came out to our first-ever community picnic last week. It was a beautiful fall evening in the park filled with smiles, delicious food from the Livingston Food Resource Center, and incredible music from Lena Rich ⚘.

THANK YOU, Park County! As a way to say thanks for your overwhelming generosity and community spirit, PCCF is hosting a free, open-to-all community picnic.

Join us on Wednesday, September 23 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Miles Park Bandshell in Livingston to celebrate the end of summer and another fantastic GIVE A HOOT campaign with food, music, and great conversation with our neighbors.

Live music will be provided by local singer-songwriter Lena Rich and company, and the picnic dinner will be catered by the Livingston Food Resource Center. Water and soft drinks will also be available free of charge.
