Snow Capped Shepherd Rescue

We are a non-profit, all volunteer-run rescue. We primarily rescue White German Shepherds but happily find ourselves rescuing other breeds as well!

❤ Meet Sammy! ❤
Sammy is a senior German Shepherd with so much love to give! Sammy’s exact age is a bit of a mystery, but we believe he is around 10 years old — and this handsome boy is proof that age is just a number. He is healthy, still active, and has the sweetest bursts of playful energy. With his classic German Shepherd presence and majestic prance, Sammy has a quiet dignity that makes him impossible not to notice.

Sammy can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he understands you are a friend, his gentle heart begins to shine. He previously lived with another dog, but we believe he will be happiest as the only dog in the home. Because he is leash-reactive around other dogs, Sammy will need a fenced yard for easy potty breaks — which makes him a wonderful match for someone who cannot do regular dog walks.

❤ Meet Humphrey Bogart - "Bogie"! ❤
Bogie is the best boy! He is about 5 years old and has the sweetest mix of laid-back charm and playful spirit. At around 80 lbs, he’s a handsome big guy who is on the lean side and could use a few extra pounds to reach his ideal weight. When he’s excited or happy, Bogie likes to “talk” — it's adorable and entertaining!

This lovable guy is ready to be someone’s adventure buddy, couch companion, and professional power-nap partner. We think he could do well with other dogs his size, and he loves kids.

❤ Meet Ralph! ❤
Ralph is a 20-pound cutie-pie with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun. Ralph’s motto is “play, play, play,” and this funny, sweet boy is always ready to bring joy to the day. He is affectionate, cuddly, and loves being close, making him the perfect mix of lap dog and adventure buddy.

Ralph does best with people who understand and respect his boundaries, so he would be happiest in a home with kids 12 and older. He loves other small dogs, may do well with cats, and can be a little sassy with larger dogs, so thoughtful introductions are important.

If you’re looking for a playful, loving companion with plenty of charm, Ralph may be your perfect match!

❤ Meet Olaf! ❤
How handsome is this kiddo?

We think sweet Olaf is only around 1 year old. He is a silly, friendly, playful guy who would love to go on adventures with his new family. He gets along with other dogs, and he'd love to have a doggy playmate in his new home. Olaf needs to work on his manners, but he is a super smart boy who will shine with some training.

This handsome boy is looking for his forever family where he can be the center of your attention!

Sweet Sam is playful and adventurous ... perhaps a little too adventurous (did we mention he is part Husky?), so he needs a secure yard with a minimum 6' fence and supervision. Sam loves people, but isn't a big fan of other dogs, so he needs to be your one and only.
