We are incredibly excited to announce that Conroy Excavating is returning as the Title Sponsor of the 2026 Fraser Freeze Out.

For years, Conroy Excavating has been a tremendous supporter of Dawg Nation, and we're honored to have them back helping lead one of our favorite events of the year.

Based in Tabernash and serving mountain communities throughout Colorado since 1998, Conroy Excavating has built a reputation for quality work, strong relationships, and a genuine commitment to the community they call home.

Those values are exactly what the Fraser Freeze Out is about.

This year's tournament will benefit Jack McDermott and the McDermott family.

Jack is a member of the Fraser Valley hockey community who recently lost his father in a tragic accident. As he works toward attending Montana State University and continuing his hockey journey, the hockey community is rallying around him and his family in an incredible way.

We could not be more grateful to Jay Conroy and the entire Conroy Excavating team for helping make this event possible and continuing to support our mission year after year.

🏒 FREE AGENTS NEEDED 🏒

The Dawg Nation Stray Dawgs are looking for a few more players to join us in the Copper Division at the Fraser Freeze Out.

The Fraser Freeze Out isn't your typical hockey tournament.

Played at the beautiful Fraser Icebox, this 3v3 pond hockey-style event brings together hockey players from across Colorado for a weekend of competition, community, and giving back.

This year's tournament will support Jack McDermott and the McDermott family, and we're looking for a few more players to help us make a difference.
When the hockey is over, we'll head to Hernando's Pizza Pub in Winter Park for what is always one of the best after parties of the year.

At Hockey Heals, we celebrate goals.
But we also celebrate the misses.

This week featured a penalty shot challenge, and while nobody managed to find the back of the net, that's not really the point.

What makes these clips special is who's taking the shots.

Jonny Landis is a traumatic brain injury survivor who wasn't expected to survive a 42-foot fall.

Nick Jordan is continuing his recovery after a devastating motorcycle accident.

Van Stone was told he would never skate again following a traumatic brain injury.

Porter Johnson is a cancer survivor who continues to inspire everyone around him.

Today they're back on the ice.

Competing.
Laughing.
Getting cheered on by teammates.

And occasionally missing the net by a few feet.

That's Hockey Heals.
That's Dawg Nation.
And that's why we love this community.

When we first started planning the Avalanche Watch Party, our hope was simple:

Let's try to raise $10,000 for Logan Cornick and his family.

As the evening unfolded, it became clear that the hockey community had bigger plans.

Over 250 Crux b**rs were sold. Auction items found new homes. Raffle tickets flew off the table.

People raised their hands and opened their hearts.

By the end of the night, Dawg Nation was able to present the Cornick family with a check for $20,000.

For Logan and his family, this support means so much more than dollars.

It means knowing they are surrounded by a community that cares deeply about them and will continue to stand beside them through every challenge ahead.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered, bid, bought b**r, purchased raffle tickets, and helped make this possible.

And to top it all off…
The Avalanche got the win too.

What a night.

Another special night for Dawg Nation.

On Tuesday evening, the hockey community once again proved why it is one of the most generous and caring communities anywhere.

Stoney's was packed from wall to wall as Avalanche fans, friends, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters gathered to rally around Logan Cornick and his family.

The result?
A $20,000 check presentation to help support the Cornick family as they continue navigating Logan's rare medical condition and the challenges that come with it.

There were countless memorable moments throughout the evening.

Spending time with longtime Dawg Nation supporter and Avalanche legend Milan Hejduk.

Welcoming our newest intern, DU National Champion and Avalanche prospect Tory Pitner.

Seeing silent auction items, giveaways, and donations help grow throughout the night.
And most importantly, witnessing a room full of people come together in support of a family that needs it.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sponsored, volunteered, attended, donated, bid, purchased a Crux b**r, and supported the event in any way.

You are making a real difference in people's lives.
This is what Dawg Nation does best.
