For years, dairy farmers in rural Nepal relied on memory to track milk production, expenses, and animal health. Through the ๐Œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ค๐ฒ ๐–๐š๐ฒ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ, supported by ํ—คํผ์ฝ”๋ฆฌ์•„ Heifer Korea and KOICA, record keeping is changing for the better. ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ’š

Dharma Kumari, a 55-year-old dairy farmer from Sindhuli, began by recording farm data in a notebook each evening by the kitchen fire. When that system evolved into a smartphone app, she was unsure she could use it.

After losing her husband and becoming the sole provider for her two daughters, Sandy faced uncertainty, financial hardship and the challenge of rebuilding her life. Through Heifer Mรฉxico's poultry entrepreneurship program, she gained income, confidence and the belief that she could build a brighter future for her children.

Today, Sandy earns income from egg sales, serves as a community promoter and is inspiring other women to see what is possible when they invest in themselves.

No electricity. No clean water. No way to invest in the tools her farm needed to grow.

Through her cooperative, Nabukenya accessed financing that allowed her to bring solar power into her home, secure water for her family and livestock, and invest in the equipment her farm depends on.

Today, her days look much different. More productive. More stable. More secure.
