Three weekends of repair!? Central Arkansas Repair Cafe volunteers attended Memphis Public Libraries, Friends of Russellville's first Repair Cafe at Pope County Library, Russellville AR, and will finish with our own March Repair Cafe, this Sunday 3/15 @ 2pm! Building community around repair events is essential to changing the mindset of a 'throwaway lifestyle'.

Our neighbors up north are starting the second repair cafe in the state of ARKANSAS!!! This Saturday, March 7th from 1 pm - 5 pm at the Pope County Library! Glad we could share all the knowledge we've gain running our Repair Cafe for the past three years. Repair > Replace is an easy equation to lower your cost, build skills, and be more sustainable in small ways.

Don't forget about the Repair Café on Saturday, March 7, at 1 pm.
Bring your broken household items to be repaired by our community volunteers. We will have repair tables available for small appliances, yard tools like w**d eaters and leaf blowers, costume jewelry, sewing, bike repairs, a DIY station stocked with supplies, and more. Don't throw it away; let the Repair Café give it new life!
The Café will be first come, first served. Each participant is allowed to bring one item for repair. Sign-in sheets will be available when you arrive. You can observe and learn a new skill while you wait for your repair or browse reading materials and enjoy free refreshments.
The Repair Café is sponsored and co-hosted by The Friends of Russellville.

300 repairs! At the end of our August Repair Café, we hit 300 total repairs completed with a repair rate of 78%! We are so appreciative for CALS Dee Brown Library and our volunteers. We love building community, raising awareness on repairing, and fixing stuff. Our next Repair Café is September 21st from 2 pm - 4 pm.
