Greetings fellow Legionnaires and American Legion Riders!
Well, not a lot to report for the month of March, however, it will usher in Spring 2026. Interestingly enough, as this report is being written, the meteorological winter warm-up in Minnesota during February was probably better than expected and similarly, it wasn’t unusual to see a number of motorcycles running around the State. I guess it is a badge of courage, which is understandable, but not something maybe worth participating in. Only one way to know…. However, this is the time of the year the ALRs anticipated while the ground was still white. In the meantime, we’ve kept meeting, the Scholarship Committee is prepping for the second iteration of awards, and the Chapter has gotten together socially throughout as well.
Regardless, the fish fries and bingo are going strong, and the days are getting increasingly longer. That in mind, never be apprehensive to join with our volunteer and fundraising efforts. If not possible to participate in those ways, please take the opportunity to support the Post and Club events as customers in support of the Community, Post 46 and the ALRs.
We’re always looking for new members to enjoy our camaraderie with, through riding our motorcycles, at the Legion club, and other scheduled events. The ALRs regular monthly meeting times are the second Tuesday of the month, the next date being the 10th of March 2026, at 1730 at the Post Club. Please come join us. The American Legion Riders is a program of the American Legion and is open to all our American Legion, SAL Auxiliary members from Post #46, as well as other Legion Posts that may not have a Chapter established. Current Membership is $20.00 per AL Rider and $20.00/year thereafter. For information on Post #46 AL Riders, please feel free to call ALR Director Chuck Parins at 320-232-9554 or Vice-Director Byron Nelson at 320-267-3139.
Thank you!
