Little Falls Bicycles Little Falls Bicycles desires to get all of Little Falls outside on a Bicycle. Much like some summer camps do. Could be one to multi day rides.

It’s healthy, fun, builds community, leadership skills, self confidence and self discovery. Dreams for Little Falls Bicycles
several different opportunities as in some of the following
• Area for a co-op mechanic area, open to members.
• Also be able to save some parts that can be reused through the co-op
• Teaching youth and young adults how to be a mechanic so they have the skills to go work in

a bicycle shop someday.
• Taking youth on overnight camping by bike adventures. Much like Trips for Kids
• Be able to give bikes away when asked and necessary for people who need them as transportation.
• Being able to have a library of bikes for people to ‘check out’ and use free of charge. IE; HS ski team during summer months of training
• Serve as meeting area for the CMBC and others
• Be able to teach children how to ride a bicycle without training wheels. Striders first and then pedal bikes.
• Be able to set up the Strider course inside on occasion.
• Be able to set up a few items for BMX and Scooter riders on occasion.
• Be a safe place for youth to hang out.
• Work with the Middle School on a STEM project around bikes.
• Be able to host cross country riders perhaps even overnight
• Work with the Purple Carrot on nutrition and cycling.
• Develop an earn a bike program.
• Work in conjunction with the Morrison County Sheriff’s office sentence to serve program to refurbish bikes to be given away by other charities
• Teach bicycle repair classes with Park Tool School Program

Look at this! Thanks Initiative Foundation. Join us for our next ride. July 23rd. Meet @ Touright Bicycle Shop around 9:15 and head out to ride at 9:30. New riders always welcome!

A bike ride can be about more than exercise. Sometimes it's about friendship, confidence and finding your place in the community.

That's the idea behind Little Falls Bicycles' Joy Riders program, one of 18 projects receiving Joy & Connection grant support this year. Across Central Minnesota, the Initiative Foundation awarded more than $85,000 to community-led efforts that create opportunities for people to gather, build relationships and experience a stronger sense of belonging.
