Our STEM-UP Network Fall Book Club kicks off tomorrow with "Women in Steel, Women of Steel: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow" by Karin J. Lund.

We’re looking forward to an hour of conversation, connection, and reflection as we explore the stories and experiences of women in the steel industry, past, present, and future.

✨ Happy Ada Lovelace Day!

Often recognized as the world’s first computer programmer, Ada Lovelace was a pioneering figure who imagined the possibilities of computing long before modern computers existed. Her vision helped pave the way for generations of women in STEM, reminding us that curiosity, creativity, and bold thinking can shape the future.

At STEM-UP Network, we celebrate Ada’s legacy by championing the women advancing STEM today, building meaningful connections, and inspiring the next generation of women to explore what’s possible.

Here’s to the pioneers who opened doors, the women breaking new ground, and those who will shape the innovations of tomorrow. 💜

Every name represents a woman with her own story, experience, perspective, and potential.

And this chair is just getting started.

As our NextGen Women in STEM™ series continues across Pennsylvania, we’ll keep adding names, voices, and stories to it. Because sometimes, making space starts with something as simple as pulling up a chair.
