The Prism Project is a faith-based, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to educate, and advocate for child survivors of s*x trafficking.

We offer a Safehouse Program that provides full wrap-around restorative care for girls ages 12-17 years old. Prism Project has opened the doors of the safe house program!! It is the 1st long-term safe house with restorative services for child survivors of trafficking in Genesee County, MI!!! Children will be able to receive their education, therapy, medical care, spiritual care, and life skills all in one place in order to heal from the complex trauma that they have endured.

Support. Serve. Impact.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers who recently dedicated their time, energy, and talents to helping us improve our Safehouse property and create a more welcoming environment for those we serve.

🏡 Choice One Bank volunteers tackled driveway improvements by trimming overgrown trees and bushes and filling potholes with crushed asphalt, making our entrance safer and more accessible.
🚜 Pioneer State Mutual volunteers took on some major projects, including weed-whacking around the ranch, cleaning out the pole barn, and filling a 30-yard dumpster with unwanted materials. Thanks to their hard work, we were able to organize and store maintenance equipment safely inside the barn.
🗑️ A special thank you to Restopros & Dump Dog for partnering together to provide the dumpster that made this large-scale cleanup possible.
🤝 Prism Project service volunteers joined in supporting our mission and helping move important projects forward.

Because of your willingness to support, serve, and make an impact, our property is safer, cleaner, and better equipped to support the girls we serve each and every day!

🐑🌱 Volunteers Needed! 🌱🐑

We're looking for caring and reliable volunteers who can help support our Safehouse property on a weekly basis.

Our animals and gardens are an important part of creating a healing and educational environment for the children we serve. We're seeking community members who would be willing to assist with:

🐑 Animal Care Support
~Refreshing water
~Monitoring feed supplies
~Helping ensure our animals are safe, healthy, and well cared for

🌱 Garden Support
~Planting and maintaining garden beds
~Weeding and watering
~Helping us grow fresh produce and beautiful outdoor spaces

🌿We’re looking for volunteers to help with our upcoming Work Day on May 30th, 9am-1pm, generously sponsored by ChoiceOne Bank! 🛠️🤝

💚We’ll be focusing on cleaning up and improving our outdoor areas to create welcoming spaces here at the Safehouse Program. These improvements help foster environments that promote healing, grounding, connection, and restoration.

💚We’ll have a variety of tasks throughout the day, and every helping hand makes a difference. This work day is also part of a larger vision for future outdoor wellness projects, including partnership opportunities for a gazebo, camping hammocks, and additional healing and restorative-centered improvements.

📝Please note: ALL volunteers will be REQUIRED to complete a cleared background check prior to participating.
