The RoboEagles were proud to share their season’s achievements with the Linden School Board. After a brief presentation, board members and attendees visited the STEM Lab to watch the REBUILT robot in action. Thank you to the board for supporting our students and the growing STEM programs in our district.

Linden Robotics is grateful for Linden Community Schools and all our sponsors who make it possible for our students to participate in the *FIRST*® robotics programs:

🏆 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒! 🏆

Just before spring break, the 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐄𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬 competed in their first qualifying event for 𝐑𝐄𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐓™ 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐚𝐬 at Saline High School and 𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭!⁣

After two days of intense competition, 𝐅𝐑𝐂 𝟑𝟓𝟔𝟖 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐄𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬 proved to be a strong alliance partner with a smart, effective defensive strategy. That performance earned them a spot on the #1 Alliance, selected by 𝐅𝐑𝐂 𝟓𝟒𝟔𝟎 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞, along with their first pick, 𝐅𝐑𝐂 𝟔𝟕 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦, to compete in the playoff matches.⁣

As shown in the reel posted earlier, the RoboEagles’ defensive strategy played a crucial role in the playoffs—simultaneously preventing two opposing robots from interfering while protecting our alliance partners as they delivered high value “fuel” into the “hub.” This teamwork and strategy resulted in 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 through the semifinal and final rounds.⁣

🏆 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭?⁣
Each team on the alliance brought home a 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞, along with gold medals for every team member.⁣

We’re incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, teamwork, and determination. ⁣

📣 𝐖𝐞’𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞!⁣
Please come out and cheer on the RoboEagles as they wrap up their regular season and showcase all the hard work they’ve put in. 🦅🔧🏆⁣

A huge thank you to our 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 whose time, dedication, and encouragement make opportunities like this possible. Your support helps our students learn, grow, and succeed both on and off the field. We can’t wait to keep building on this momentum as the season continues! 🚀🦅⁣

Saline Competition (Week 4) - Qualification 64

Alternating between blocking opponent robots from interfering with their teammates and shuttling new fuel cells to be scored, the Linden RoboEagles impressed competitors with their defense strategy— or, as the team describes it, Dean showed off his DEAN-fense skills!

Later in the competition, their work in this match may have earned them a spot as the second pick for Alliance 1. Well done to all of the teams that competed! 🤖🦅💛

Here are some highlights from the Linden Robotics 2025-2026 season. This year’s theme, FIRST*® AGE™ presented by Qualcomm, is inspired by archaeology.

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE EXPLORE: UNEARTHED
Hyatt and Linden Elementary Schools K-3rd grades

This year the FLL LEGO Eaglets team attended a festival where they shared what they have learned.

FIRST LEGO LEAGUE CHALLENGE: UNEARTHED
Central Elementary School 4th-5th grades

The three FLL LEGO EAGLES teams (30463, 56928, and 57661) had their competition at the ElectroEagles Qualifier on December 6. The teams worked hard and scored well. LEGO Eagles 3 (57661) was awarded the third place trophy for Overall Core Values.

FIRST TECHNICAL CHALLENGE: DECODE
Linden Middle School 6th-8th grades

The two middle school teams, the FTC 7031 Battle Blazers and the FTC 27242 Electric Eagles competed at the Flint FTC Qualifier. There were 36 teams at the eventl the Electric Eagles finished in 7[^th] place and the Battle Blazers finished in 12[^th]. Both teams qualified for the playoff matches, with the Electric Eagles the captain of the 4th alliance and the Battle Blazers included in the 6th alliance. They even competed against each other during one of the later matches and the Electric Eagles moved on to the next round. Their alliance finished the playoffs as one of the top three alliances of the event.

The Electric Eagles were the runner up team for the Sustain Award, which recognized their efforts to ensure that the Linden Robotics programs have long-term success by their support for promoting STEM within their community and helping to draw in sponsors to help fund the programs.

FIRST ROBOTICS CHALLENGE: REBUILT
Linden High School 9th-12th grades

The high school team, FRC 3568 Linden RoboEagles, officially kicked off their season today at Kettering University, where they watched the worldwide game reveal and spent the afternoon strategizing their robot design for the season. We can’t wait to see where the season takes us!

Some highlights from last fall, as we prepare for the next FIRST Robotics Competition season.

In early December, the team decorated a float with the REEFSCAPE robot and field elements for the Linden Lighted Holiday Parade. It was great fun and we look forward to participating again next year with our REBUILT robot!

Mid December was the annual wreath laying at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Thank you to everyone that sponsored a wreath; photos can be seen on the Linden Robotics Wreaths Fundraiser page.
