We are officially accepting donations!! The donation boxes are at Serendipity Spa of Linden, Total Wellness Chiropractor, Midwest Mercentile in Fenton, and Fairfield Senior Living main office in Fenton!

Hi all! So I potentially have quite a big contributor for the coffee charity. However a lot of their donation would include K-Cups, and the shelter does not currently have a Keurig. I’ve been in contact with the shelter, and if we can donate Keurigs, then we can move forward with the contributor. I’m looking for approximately 2-3 Keurigs; Does anyone have an old Keurig they do not use anymore that they are willing to donate or sell to me? Please spread the word, and let me know!! Thank you!

Donation drop spots are starting to get set in stone! So far, starting December 1rst, we will have a donation drop spot at Serendipity Spa of Linden, Shirley’s in Linden, and the Fairfield Senior Living of Fenton. I will have the complete list of drop locations ready next week.

As always, please let me know if anyone knows of any small businesses interested in being a drop location or having a donation flyer out with drop locations listed!

A little known fact; Homeless Shelters rarely have coffee grounds donated. Oftentimes grounds have to be used over and over…and there is nothing satisfying about a weak cup of coffee!
Last December, we organized a small coffee grounds fundraiser, and were able to collect quite a sizable load of donations from the Linden/Fenton community… donations ranged from coffee grounds & powdered creamer to hot cocoa and marshmallows! All donations were loaded up and dropped it off to ‘My Brothers Keeper of Genesee County’ a few days before Christmas.
This year, we plan to double our efforts, and collect enough coffee to supply several months to the shelter.
We are accepting donations of coffee grounds (no beans please!), powdered creamer, hot cocoa, filters, and any other non perishable items that go along with coffee!
Donations will be delivered to ‘My Brothers Keeper’ of Genesee county on December 22, 2022.
We hope to have boxes for donations at a few local stores starting in November, and will have a list of drop stops available on this page as soon as things get up and running!
