🚔 Men of Tomorrow: Law Enforcement Day 🚔

This past Saturday, the Men of Tomorrow mentees at the 100 Black Men of North Metro Atlanta, Inc. spent the day with local law enforcement officers at all three of our mentoring sites: North Fulton, Gwinnett, and Cobb.

Our young men talked openly with officers and deputies, asked tough questions and learned about:
✅ Their rights and responsibilities during encounters with law enforcement
✅ How to handle traffic stops safely and respectfully
✅ Careers in law enforcement and public service
✅ Building trust and understanding in our communities

Conversations like these help our mentees feel more confident and better prepared, and they show them the many paths open to them.

A big thank you to the Roswell Police Department, the Gwinnett County Police Department and the Cobb County Sheriff's Office for giving their time and talking honestly with our young men. Thank you as well to our mentors, volunteers and families. You make days like this possible. 🙌🏾

What They See Is What They'll Be.💯

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! ⛳

The 100 Black Men of North Metro Atlanta, Inc. would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who made our 24th Annual Golf Tournament a success!

Because of your generosity and support, we can continue providing mentorship and guidance to our mentees through our Men of Tomorrow Program, serving youth in Gwinnett, Cobb, and Fulton counties.

Your commitment helps us invest in our youth, inspire future leaders, and build brighter futures for the next generation.

On behalf of our mentees, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make a lasting impact in our community!

Together, we are shaping the men of tomorrow. 💙

When community comes together, great things happen. 🙌🏾

We're grateful to our partner VyStar Credit Union for giving tickets so our mentees and their families can visit the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta!

This visit is more than a field trip. Our young men and their families will: ✊🏾 Learn about the people who fought for civil rights and justice 📚 Connect history to their own goals and futures 👨‍👩‍👦 Share a powerful experience together as a family

At 100 Black Men of North Metro Atlanta, Inc., we believe mentoring works best when the whole community supports our youth. Partners like VyStar help make experiences like this possible, and we can't thank them enough.

Good is everywhere, and today it's right here in our community. 💙

💗 “It was all a dream” (iykyk)

Six years ago, breast cancer survivor Daphne Myers launched the Empower Her & Him Foundation and now it's a growing movement of awareness, hope, and advocacy.

100 Black Men of North Metro Atlanta, Inc. proudly supported survivors, fighters, caregivers, and advocates today for their powerful Tatas, Tutus & Ties Breast Cancer Awareness event.

One message stood above all others:
"Cancer is just a diagnosis. It is not who you are."

Honorees included the great Andra Hall CEO & Founder of Cami Cakes. My new friend and honoree Eric Dunlap, a 20+ year survivor, reminded us that men get breast cancer too.

Through education, early detection, youth outreach, and next-generation advocacy, we can help save lives and strengthen our communities.

As we move into Breast Cancer Awareness, here’s our last message to men about Prostate Cancer

Thank you, Georgia-Pacific 🙌

On September 19, GP hosted our Men of Tomorrow mentees and the C100 at the Curley M. Dossman Jr. Economic Thinking Seminar inside the GP Innovation Center.

Innovation Center tours. Career conversations with engineers, lawyers, and sales leaders. A crash course in opportunity cost, marginal analysis, risk, and sound measures. And a team challenge where our young men diagnosed why real companies failed.

Exposure changes expectations. Thank you, GP, for opening the door. 💛🖤
