Kauai Concert Association

Kauai Concert Association Kaua’i Concert Association is committed to sharing world-class artists and arts education with Kaua’i

The Kauai Concert Association (KCA) began in 1974 with a mission to bring world class music to Kauai. The organization started with two or three concerts per year and currently presents an eight concert season with a wide variety of classical, dance, jazz, and world music for the enjoyment and edification of Kauai residents and visitors. Over the years, KCA has hosted such performers as the San Fr

ancisco Opera, Oakland Ballet, Hiroshima, Bela Fleck, Ernie Watts, Black Grace, and Chanticleer. Performances are held primarily at the Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center Theater, Kauai's most modern and acoustically superb venue. However in the past, KCA has presented at the Coco Palms Hotel and the Kauai Convention Center and smaller venues.

Mahalo, Kauaʻi! ❤️

What a beautiful way to close out our season. Thank you to everyone who joined us for BODYTRAFFIC and helped make this unforgettable evening of dance, artistry, and community possible.

We’re especially grateful to the incredible BODYTRAFFIC dancers, our volunteers, board members, sponsors, and the many supporters who continue to show up for the performing arts on our island. Nights like this are only possible because of you.

A special mahalo to Kauaʻi Ballet Academy for partnering with us and helping bring this unique educational opportunity to our community. It was inspiring to see local student dancers join BODYTRAFFIC on the stage at KCC and learn from Glen Eddy, the company’s Ballet Master. The opportunity to warm up, move, and experience the artistry of a world-renowned dance company firsthand made for a truly memorable afternoon.

While our concert season has wrapped, there’s still more to come! Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about our exciting 2026–2027 season lineup, summer programs, and special events.

💃❤️ Flashback Friday ❤️💃

As we count down to BODYTRAFFIC tomorrow, we’re taking a moment to celebrate two familiar faces in the KCA ʻohana.

Congratulations to our Artistic Director, Monica Chung, and her new husband, Neil, on their recent marriage! 🎉

Many of you know Monica as the creative force behind KCA’s incredible season, but Neil has been right there alongside her—volunteering countless hours behind the scenes, helping move equipment, set up events, run our photo booth, assist with interviews, and support the arts on Kauaʻi in so many ways.

This special moment was captured by KCA Board Member Ed Sancious during our Ray Obiedo Latin Jazz Quartet concert, catching Monica and Neil sharing a dance together—a beautiful candid moment and a perfect reminder that live performance has a way of bringing people together both on and off the stage.

This Flashback Friday, we’re celebrating partnership—in life and in the arts.

Tomorrow night, bring your sweetheart, dance partner, best friend, or someone you’ve been meaning to share a special evening with. BODYTRAFFIC is the perfect date night and a powerful way to experience world-class dance together right here on Kauaʻi.

🎟️ Limited tickets remain for tomorrow’s performance.
