🌟 Volunteers Needed on Fridays at STAT Ligonier Therapy Center! 🌟
Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? STAT Equine Therapy Center is seeking volunteers on Fridays to help support our programs serving children living with disabilities, trauma survivors, and veterans.
No horse experience is necessary—we’ll provide the training you need. Even just one hour of your time can make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve.
We already have a wonderful volunteer family and would love to welcome a few more caring individuals to our team.
Requirements:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Child clearance and background checks are required
• All clearances can be obtained free of charge through STAT

Through the month of May — we are asking for donations through the national Horses for Mental Health campaign. STAT is a new partner this year. Our campaign goal is $5000 and we’ve raised $350.

• Combat-related PTSD
• Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
• Addiction recovery challenges
• Relationship and family struggles
• Service-related emotional and behavioral difficulties

STAT® has been very quiet lately… but behind the scenes, BIG things have been happening. 🐴✨

We are incredibly grateful to share that STAT® has recently received major support for both our operations and youth programming through grants from Richard King Mellon Foundation and Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. These investments are helping strengthen our mission, expand programming, and support vulnerable and adjudicated youth across our region.

At the same time, one of the most exciting developments is that STAT® has officially become an approved partner of Horses for Mental Health — helping us raise scholarship funding for individuals and families who otherwise could not afford care.

Even if you didn’t go home with something in your hands - you left by giving the gift of your personal generosity.

The proceeds from our Bash goes toward many specific needs:
