We are always thankful for donations and run solely on donations and a few fundraisers. Due to health issues we have not been able to have our fundraisers, but hope to in the very near future.

Because of you we are able to help the youth in our district participate in the extracurriculars that normally aren’t covered or possibly overlooked because of cost.

It’s youth football and cheer season. This program is offered and extremely beneficial for so many youth. We know first hand! Please think about donating to LYI and even requesting your donation to be allotted for this program.

Thank you to everyone supporting LYI and our youth❤️🖤

It’s always a privilege to help the kids enjoy and play softball 🥎 and baseball ⚾️

The memories, skills, camaraderie are some of what makes it more than just a sport and games!

Thank you to those that continue to donate to LYI to make our donations and sponsorships possible for all of the LVSD youth to take part in an extracurricular! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🫶🏻

As always you can donate whatever amount and even specify an activity that you wish it to go towards! We have baseball sponsors and the arts sponsors.

We also do our sponsorships directly with the organizations, studios, teams, groups. It is discreet and anonymous to allow those that normally couldn’t partake to be a part of something without any fanfare or spotlight to make them and their families feel fine and ok with the covering of costs. The costs such as registration fees, lessons, and other team costs.

We focus on the things that potentially fall through the cracks with not being a school activity or something that may already be covered by another non profit in our area. We found the need and made it happen!

Thank you again to all who support whether donations, words of encouragement, and spreading the word.

It’s easy to apply for that extra hand of help by simple messaging and often times the organization will know to contact us.

Cheers to more seasons!

We were so happy to help sponsor this event. It’s a bit outside of our usual, but it provided so many smiles and enjoyment to the youth in the area!

Keep doing amazing things Cook Township Community Center!

What was YOUR favorite extracurricular?

Did you play a sport, act, sing, dance, ride horses, fence, play polo, play an instrument, part of a team or band?

We want to hear your memories 🖤❤️

Ligonier Youth Inc is happy to announce we are expanding our efforts to head up the fundraising campaign for these middle school teams. Be on the lookout for more information. Letters will be going out to all the schools and the local teams. We are extremely excited for this joint endeavor for LVMS in the LVSD!

Ligonier Valley School District’s board approved starting a middle school softball and baseball program next academic year and got an update on the baseball field renovation on Monday.

We are proud to help make sure boys and girls play baseball and softball! We have proudly assisted LYBSA with those that wish to “play ball” but maybe wouldn’t have the opportunity because of the cost.

There are generous donors that donate with earmarked funds that say for baseball/softball registration.

You are always more than welcome to request where your donation goes. If you wish to donate to a specific sport, art, or any other extracurricular you can state that and it will guaranteed go to that.

As always thank you for helping us help our school district youth.

Any child who lives in LVSD is applicable and the need when requested is evaluated.

So far LYI has helped:
Football
Cheer
Baseball
Softball
Dance
Basketball

Happy 2026 and thank you for being with us!

We continue to work on meeting the needs of the local district youth in their extracurricular activities that they otherwise may not be able to partake in.

Because of generous donors we continue. Anyone can donate any amount. No amount is too small! Also, you can always specify what you wish your donation to go towards. Some specify baseball, others for registration costs, some for the arts. The need is there. We are a small nonprofit, but we fill in where other bigger groups and nonprofits might not. We all have our purpose and place.

Ligonier Youth Inc. assists in sports, the arts, and activities often overlooked. We are the behind the scenes.

Stay tuned for some exciting things to come!

As always thank you again for helping the youth of our area, they appreciate it.
