🚨⚾ IMPORTANT PARK NOTICE – PLEASE READ & SHARE! ⚾🚨

Southeastern Families, Friends & Community Members,

We have MAJOR construction projects underway at Southeastern this fall, and while we are excited about the improvements being made, we need everyone's help keeping our park safe and protected.

We have recently been made aware of individuals riding electric bikes, bicycles, and scooters on our baseball fields.

🚫 LET US BE CLEAR: BICYCLES, ELECTRIC BIKES, SCOOTERS, AND SIMILAR VEHICLES ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT PERMITTED ON OUR FIELDS!

This is NOT a new rule, but with contractors actively working onsite and significant financial investments being made to improve our facilities, we will be strictly enforcing this rule indefinitely.

The safety of our players, families, visitors, and contractors is our TOP PRIORITY!

We are asking all past and present Southeastern families, friends, and those living in or around Veterans Park to PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE!

If you witness anyone riding bikes, scooters, or similar vehicles on our fields, please contact a Southeastern board member immediately.

These improvements are being made for our children and future generations of Southeastern baseball. We have worked too hard and invested too much to allow unnecessary damage or unsafe activity on our fields.

Thank you for helping us protect our park, our investment, and most importantly, our community! ⚾

It is with heavy hearts that the Southeastern Cal Ripken Baseball family shares the loss of one of our own, 6-year-old Neven Coofer.

Anyone who spent time at the fields knew Neven. His personality was infectious, and his smile, his energy, and his joy for life lifted everyone around him. You'd find him in the dugout, on the field, or playing in the bushes behind the Minor field, the spot he proudly named his "treehouse." Neven wasn't just a player in our league. He was everyone at Southeastern's little brother. Coaches, teammates, parents, and older players all looked out for him, and every one of us is better for having known him.

Neven leaves behind his loving parents, Dominik and Gordana, and his older brother, Niko. Our league is wrapping our arms around this family, and we're asking our community to do the same.

Calling all Southeastern families, past and present!

We're working to recognize the Southeastern alumni who went on to compete at the collegiate and professional levels, in any sport, and we need your help.

If you know a former Southeastern player who went on to play in college or as a pro, please share:

1️⃣ Their name
2️⃣ The years they played at Southeastern
3️⃣ Where they played at the next level (college, professional level reached, or both)

Drop it in the comments. Tag them, tag their parents, tag their old teammates. The more names, the better!

Every one of these athletes started on our fields. Let's make sure their stories are part of Southeastern's history.

We've spent the day scrolling through them, and it's been a reminder of what makes this league so special.

A response like this doesn't happen by accident. It's a reflection of the strength, the heart, and the goodwill of the Southeastern Baseball community. You didn't just send pictures; you showed us what this league means to your families. And that means the world to us.

🏆 WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE SEASON! 🏆

The Southeastern 8U Crush wrapped up an incredible summer by winning the Play to Win 1-Day Tournament in Danville, going a perfect 4-0 in dominating fashion! 💪⚾️

But that’s not all… these boys finished 9-0 in our two kid-pitch tournaments this summer! 🔥
So proud of the way this team competed, battled, and continued to grow all summer long. The hard work, teamwork, and never-quit attitude showed every time they stepped on the field.
