Tuesday - Friday: 10 am - 6 pm

Every Third Saturday of the month is Discovery Saturday! This day of free programming invites the community to come explore, discover, and learn something new — join us October 17th from 10 AM - 2 PM for our Dia de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) celebration, in combination with a honoring artists & scientists throughout history! We’ll be making ofrendas to honor those that have passed, leading a self-portrait art project inspired by Frida Kahlo, and diving into a science experiment inspired by Galileo & Isaac Newton together! We invite you to come dressed as your favorite artist or scientist who teaches you to dream big and reach for the stars. Learn all about the traditions of Dia de los Mu***os and the importance of remembrance during this special month.

Life gets chaotic. Give yourself the opportunity to step away from the go-go-go of it all to connect with that inner child who wanted nothing more than to explore, play, and try new things. Adults who visit museums monthly show a 48% lower risk of developing clinical depression, AND viewing art in person for just 20 minutes has been shown to trigger a 22% drop in stress hormones! LASC is your neighborhood getaway — lunchtime outside of the office can look like a quick walk to the corner of Fourth Strest and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd!

Ditch the doomscrolling and see what you’re capable of creating with your own two hands! Tomorrow, you can learn the craft of homemade coffee syrups with Kristin, who knows a thing or two about a good cup of joe, and next weekend we’re getting into the fall spirit with a Ceramic Pumpkins class in the pottery studio! If you’ve been looking for a new hobby, a fun way to meet other members of the community, or an excuse to get out of the house after work, The Living Arts & Science Center has ample adult programming available to help reduce your screen time and increase your enjoyment of the arts!

It was such a pleasure to have the Women In Manufacturing Kentucky Chapter yesterday in the Glo Gallery! We love seeing folks come together in our spaces to collaborate, mingle, and learn, fostering an environment for creativity and new ideas. We can’t wait to see what these industry-leading women have planned and how they’ll continue to make waves across the state!
