We are excited to announce the long awaited Kentucky Mountain Bike Festival.

This is the final stop of the Bluegrass Mountain Cup series for 2026 and will not only have XC and Enduro, but also Dual Slalom, STXC, a Jump Jam, and more. We’re still sorting the full schedule. The main thing is to get your plans made, your rooms, booked, and your PTO cashed in. This will be one of the most unique MTB events in Kentucky and this is just the beginning. The official opening of the park will happen this weekend and you’ll make history with us.

Bluff Boom is Kentucky’s newest bike park loaded with a wide array of jumps, trails, and beautiful features head to toe. This is a multimillion dollar investment that is built to have you never wanting to leave.

Calling all Knucklehead Trail lovers! This Sunday (9/27), 9 am- 1 pm, KYMBA is hosting a Trail Reclamation Day to give our Knucklehead Trails some much-needed love. Meet at the Trailhead.

Roger Wilson and Tim Coleman are leading the trail crews. When you arrive, just introduce yourself, and we will put you to work! 😎

We also need w**d eaters and trimmers. If you have one you're willing to use, bring that along too!

Trail Closure Notice: Capitol View Park

Capitol View Park trails will be closed to public use on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27 for a KY NICA Pedal for the Roses event weekend.

Hundreds of student-athletes from across the state will be racing these trails, and we invite the public to join us in cheering on riders as they race on Sunday 27, starting at 9 AM.

Thank you for your patience and for supporting youth mountain biking in Kentucky!

HUGE shoutout to the Capitol View Park Trail Crew who made the park primo condition this week! Troy, Joe, and Kyle are just the ones we know of. If you see them this weekend, please thank them for their time and hard work!

VisitLEX is asking residents what they want to see more of in Fayette County tourism, and trails don't advocate for themselves. Capitol View Park, Veterans Park, Silver Creek Bike Park — these trail systems bring riders, families, and visitors into cities, and mountain bikers deserve a seat at the table when tourism priorities are set.
If mountain bikers stay quiet, outdoor recreation gets left out of the conversation. Take ten minutes to help ensure singletrack & bike parks are part of Lexington's tourism future.
