Hello KYMBA Fam,

As you may have seen, a section of trail at Veterans Park has been removed. Doodlebob snaked through a densely wooded area that straddled the park's property line and extended onto the neighboring parcel. A development plan was in place for that site and the developer elected to start earthwork. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do, however we do not anticipate further impact on our trails based on the Park’s boundaries.

Please note that the Lexington Parks Department is not involved in this construction and we continue to maintain a very positive working relationship with that division. We are working with our Parks contacts to locate areas within the park where we can expand, including identifying a location for a skills park. We are disappointed but will continue to work towards a better trail experience for our riders!
