Today we're proud to spotlight Loren Ragland, a DSP at Penn-Mar Human Services! Here's what his colleagues at Penn-Mar have to say about him:
"One of the things that stands out most about Loren is his willingness to step up and create opportunities for the people we support. During our recent May Day event, he was working in a particularly challenging program that supports individuals with significant physical needs, including wheelchair users. With only two staff members available, Loren took the initiative to ensure three individuals could attend the event. He thought of everything, bringing sunscreen, hats, blenders, and any other necessities to make the outing successful. Most importantly, he made it possible for one individual, who had been homebound except for medical appointments, to participate and enjoy the day. His determination and positive attitude gave these individuals an experience they otherwise might have missed."
