PAR was in DC yesterday and today along with our members Valley Community Services, The Arc of Cumberland & Perry Counties, Penn-Mar, Fayette Resources, and Able-Services, as well as ANCOR, to advocate for the DSP SOC Bill and discuss SSI asset limits. DSPs also shared their experiences and powerful stories from working in the ID/A field. Thank you everyone for your advocacy!

Today we are spotlighting another incredible DSP, Vivian Dalieh, the the 2025 Kenccid DSP of the Year! Vivian embodies extraordinary vigilance and dedication. After finishing an overnight shift, Vivian sensed something was wrong at a group home during a phone call. Trusting her instincts, she returned to the site, discovered a concerning situation, and stayed on-site for an additional full day shift to ensure the individuals’ safety and well-being until proper coverage arrived. Vivian's story serves as a powerful reminder that DSPs are more than employees; they are protectors, advocates, and the true "MVPs" who uphold the dignity of those they serve every single day.

Learn more about Vivian and submit a DSP from your agency to be spotlighted here: https://par.memberclicks.net/index.php?option=com_mcform&view=ngforms&id=2205756 #/
