✨ Please join us in welcoming Santa Cruz Dance Theater of Santa Cruz, California, to RDA/Pacific!

Founded in 2024 by Conrad Useldinger, Santa Cruz Dance Theater is dedicated to preserving the legacy of classical ballet while creating bold new works that inspire dancers, audiences, and the next generation of artists.

Conrad wanted to join RDA because he believes it’s vital to be connected to a larger community dedicated to concert dance. He looks forward to collaborating with fellow directors, teachers, and choreographers while giving his students the opportunity to experience dance as an art form through shared learning, meaningful collaboration, and artistic excellence.

The company is excited to build new connections, create lasting memories, and give today’s dancers the same sense of community and inspiration that has been a hallmark of RDA for generations!

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Santa Cruz Dance Theater to the RDA/Pacific community and can’t wait to see all they’ll bring to our organization. Welcome! 💙

Halfway through the week at RDA’s Dance & Choreography Intensive, the studios at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet are filled with curiosity, collaboration, and inspiration as artists learn from one another and continue to grow together.

✨ Welcome to the RDA National Board, Kelly Agnew! ✨

Please join us in welcoming Kelly Agnew to the National Board! Kelly will serve as the Southwest Region Representative, bringing her passion for dance education and years of leadership within RDA to the role!

As Artistic Director of Kingwood Ballet, Kelly has spent more than 25 years inspiring dancers through exceptional training, thoughtful mentorship, and a love of classical ballet. Her students have gone on to train with professional companies, conservatories, and university dance programs, while her own award-winning choreography has been recognized on the RDA stage, including selection for the prestigious Festival Gala Performance.

Kelly’s commitment to RDA extends beyond the studio. She also serves as Membership Chair for RDA/Southwest, supporting member organizations and helping strengthen the collaborative community that makes Regional Dance America such a meaningful experience for dancers, teachers, and directors alike.

We’re thrilled to welcome Kelly to the National Board and know her experience, creativity, and dedication to dance education will be an incredible asset as we continue shaping the future of RDA.

Thank you to Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet for hosting the RDA National Board as we spent time continuing our strategic planning work and beginning conversations for our next National Festival!

We were also excited to officially welcome our newest National Board members. Fresh perspectives, new ideas, and a shared commitment to our mission make this an exciting time for Regional Dance America!

RDA’s Dance & Choreography Intensive is off to a wonderful start in Carlisle! Surrounded by beautiful studios and an incredible community of dancers, choreographers, and faculty, we’re ready for a week of creating, collaborating, and growing together.
