For those who knew and loved Tami Wilson-Doughty:

It’s hard to believe that we are nearing seven years since Tami went home to be with Jesus.

September 25 would have been her 50th birthday, and this year our family wants to celebrate her life in a way that contributes to something she deeply loved.

For more than ten years, Tami, or "Lunar," served at Camp Tadmor in Lebanon, Oregon. She often said, “The lake at Tadmor was my most sacred space.” It was a place where she heard God’s voice, prayed, dreamed, and grew in her love for Jesus.

During her cancer journey, one phrase became her mantra:
God is Bigger.

In honor of Tami’s 50th birthday, Camp Tadmor has graciously agreed to place a memorial bench near the dock where Tami would so often meet with Jesus.

Our prayer is that it will become a place where others can pause, listen to Jesus, and leave with a bigger picture of His love.

The bench will cost approximately $2,800, and we would love to invite those who knew and loved Tami to help make it possible.

Any gifts beyond the cost of the bench will support Tadmor’s rebuilding of the Cascade Deck. It's a housing and community place for volunteer counselors —a place where young leaders will be formed and sent out to serve Jesus. This passion to see leaders equipped and experiencing the love of Jesus is so near to Tami’s heart.

We’re sad to announce that Aaron, Jenny, and Indigo Savage are leaving their roles at Tadmor in September. God is calling them on to the beautiful plans He has for their next season. For the past 3 years, Aaron and Jenny have contributed so much to the ministry of Tadmor and to Tadmor’s community. Now, God has called them on to serve with YWAM in Kona, HI! They plan to do the Discipleship Training School first, with the intent to stay with YWAM, investing in Kona's School of Sustainable Development full time.
