Tonight's the night! Hand In Hand Farm and a lot of other service providers will have booths at this special needs resource fair in Albany. That's Tuesday, April 7, 5-7 pm at the LBL ESD Center located at 905 SE 4th Ave, Albany, OR 97321.

Hand In Hand Farm will have a booth at this resource fair. If you've ever wanted to talk to one of us about our programs, here's your chance! There will be a lot of other public and private resources, as well as a few fun activities. By the way, if you can't make it this year, they've held this for several years around this time of year, contact the LBL and look for our flyers around this time next year.

This is Walker. He's been a good horse. The pain from his chronic laminitis was getting to be too much. This horse has been living with Cushing's and heaves for the last ten years and we're unable to keep condition on him going into fall. I gave him a good dose of Bute to dull the pain, and put him out on lush pasture without a grazing muzzle for the first time in ten years. He's been a wonderful partner in our program, we're so grateful that his owner, Belinda, loaned him to our program to help kids and families for as long as he was able. He's not in pain any more as of this afternoon.

Look at all of this beautiful hay! It was donated by Orton Hay Farms in Independence. We are so grateful to be able to focus on our core mission of helping troubled families this summer rather than hauling hay.
