A little nonprofit/business reality 🧡🩵
Yes, we are a business but we are also a nonprofit. We rely on donations, grants, fundraisers and private donors to keep our doors open. The income we generate at the clinic does not cover our operating expenses.
Being a nonprofit doesn’t mean our bills are discounted. We pay the same prices for medical supplies, medications, equipment, utilities, insurance and staff as any other veterinary clinic.
Our mission is to provide affordable veterinary care and serve our community, not to make a profit. Every dollar counts and every expense matters.
We understand that inconveniences happen and we always want to address legitimate concerns. However, we ask that you please be mindful when requesting discounts or financial concessions because of an inconvenience or dissatisfaction. When we discount a service, that money has to come from somewhere. Those dollars could otherwise go toward helping another animal in need.
We would love to be in a position where money wasn’t a concern, but the reality is that we have to pay our bills to keep helping animals in our community.
We aren’t here to get rich. We’re here to make a difference. Your understanding, support and donations help make that possible. Thank you to everyone who stands behind our mission! 🧡🩵 We couldn’t do this without you.
We wish everyone a happy weekend and cool front!! 🍂
