Channings Lake Subdivision is located in unincorporated Gwinnett County, approximately one mile north of GA Highway 316, on Collins Hill Road. Our 110-home neighborhood is nestled in the premiere residential area of Gwinnett County known as the "Golden Triangle". With convenient access to the Atlanta area, as well as excellent schools, nearby parks, convenient shopping, and a variety of activities
, we live in a highly sought-after geographic area. The single entrance to our subdivision provides security for our spacious wooded home sites that are controlled by architectural design standards. The average lot size is approximately one-half acre, with lake front property averaging over one acre per lot. Our 30-acre lake provides residents with leisure activities such as: canoeing, fishing, picnicking, and strolling around the lake. Amenities include: a swimming pool with an open-air cabana; a children's wading pool; two lighted tennis courts; a playground area for our children; and a lake trail. Our goals are to maintain the high quality of living in our neighborhood, and to promote strong property values. The Channings Lake Homeowners Association was established in 1989, with the homeowners taking control of the association in 1993.
