What's waiting beyond the doors? 🚪

More room for the things you love to find at the ReStore:
🛋️ Furniture
💡 Lighting
🪵 Flooring
🚪 Cabinets, doors & windows
🧰 Building materials

These departments are the heart of our ReStore. Together they bring in nearly two out of every three dollars our shoppers spend. Narnia gives them space to grow, and puts our warehouse right next door so donations get from the dock to the sales floor faster.

One week to go! Grand Opening: Friday, Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. 🦁

When cool weather comes around, we almost forget how brutal Georgia summers can be. Mr. Perry went over 2 years without a working HVAC system. Huge thanks and shout out to Bardi Home Services and Lennox for partnering with Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity to help serve a homeowner in need of a new HVAC during their Lennox Feel the Love event. We are so grateful for our local partners to conduct home repairs and for helping keep homeowners like Perry safe and cool.

Something was hiding behind our walls. 👀

Not long ago, a plumbing leak sent our ReStore team looking behind a wall in the store, and what they found surprised everyone.

We can't say much yet. But it's big, and it's going to change how we serve our community.

Stay tuned. 11.06.26 🔑

Last week, we had CMC Bridge Systems GA come out to serve alongside our ABWK home repair program team. Ms. Eulitha suffered multiple health issues that prevented her from being able to afford essential repairs to her home. In partnership with Gwinnett Code Enforcement, they referred her to Gwinnett Habitat for Humanity to seek help to also avoid code enforcement violations and fees. When partners like CMC Bridge Systems return to support ABWK projects, their involvement makes a huge impact in the lives of homeowners in Gwinnett/Walton county.

If you would like information on volunteering or sponsoring an ABWK home repair project in Gwinnett or Walton, please contact our Repair Programs Manager, Patrick at [email protected]

Thank you to our partners Bin There Dump That for donating a dumpster and to all the volunteers that come out to serve our senior adult homeowners in Gwinnett! After Ms. Yoo received a notice from Gwinnett Code Enforcement for excessive bamboo and getting a quote for over $9,000 to cut down bamboo on her property, Habitat’s A Brush With Kindness home repair program was able to gather some amazing hard workers to cut down as much bamboo in a few hours today. Our local code enforcement cares for homeowners and Habitat is proud to be a part of resolving issues in our community.

🇺🇸 Service that builds today and creates impact for years to come. 🏡💙

In recognition of the 9/11 National Day of Service, we were honored to partner with GHD Group for not one, but two meaningful Habitat projects in our community.

Through their community impact program, GHD in the Community, GHD staff and their partners came together to put service into action, helping families build strength, stability, and a lasting place to call home.

🔨 On one project, volunteers helped build an affordable Habitat home, investing their time and energy into a home that will create opportunities and generational impact for its future homeowner family.

🛠️ At Mrs. Ava’s longtime home, the team tackled siding and fascia repairs along with exterior painting through our A Brush With Kindness home repair program, helping preserve the home she loves so she can continue to enjoy it for years to come.

Two projects. Two different ways to serve. One shared commitment to building lasting community benefit!

Thank you, GHD Group, for sponsoring these projects and for choosing to honor the National Day of Service by rolling up your sleeves alongside us. Your investment goes far beyond a single day — it helps build and preserve homes, strengthen neighborhoods, and create lasting impact for the families we serve. 💙🏠
